01Read the booking terms before checkout
Check the confirmed dates and times, pickup and return locations, included distance, fuel policy, deposit and additional charges. Verify the driver eligibility requirements and cancellation terms. Save the booking confirmation somewhere easy to access.
02Plan the route and timing
Check the route, expected driving time, breaks and parking before departure. Consider traffic, weather and road conditions on the day. Share your plan with someone you trust and avoid driving when tired.
03Take time at handover
Meet at the confirmed pickup point. Review the exterior and interior condition with the host, record existing damage and verify the fuel level. Learn the basic controls, lights, mirrors and emergency equipment before setting off.
04Drive within the rules and your ability
Wear seat belts, follow posted limits and local traffic laws, and never use a phone while driving. Do not drive under the influence. If the vehicle has a warning light or seems unsafe, stop somewhere safe and contact the host or support channel.
05Keep changes on the booking channel
If plans change, request an extension or pickup adjustment through the booking process and wait for confirmation. Do not assume availability or a price change until it is confirmed.
06Return with time to spare
Follow the agreed return instructions and leave enough time for traffic. Recheck personal belongings and document the return condition together with the host. Keep any relevant receipts and messages until the booking is settled.
